Job summary

Moody's Analytics is seeking an AVP to lead cloud economics and financial partnership across Engineering, Product and FinOps. You will translate cloud spend drivers into actionable insights for executive leadership and guide governance of cloud investments.

You will partner with MA Engineering, Product, and Tech leadership to develop driver-based models, forecast spending, and drive data-driven decisions. A strong AI discipline and risk awareness are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience in cloud economics and FinOps preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead cloud economics strategy and financial partnership across Moody's Analytics Engineering, Product, and FinOps.
Serve as Finance's primary business partner to MA Engineering, Product, and Technology leadership for cloud spend.
Build trusted relationships across Engineering, Product, FinOps, and Finance teams.
Support and enhance driver-based cloud consumption models linked to product usage and roadmap investments.
Lead cloud forecasting activities and annual planning, with driver-based variance analysis.
Prepare materials and actionable insights for senior Finance leadership and MA executives.
Challenge assumptions and influence decisions through data-driven analysis.
