Job summary

Orchard LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Data Migration Engineer to support ETL workflows for large-scale federal modernization initiatives. You will handle data extraction, transformation, validation, and movement from legacy systems into secure cloud environments, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

The role requires a current active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship, with 4+ years in data migration or data engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in data migration or data engineering workloads.
Active Top Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Experience with structured and unstructured data, mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting languages, or pipeline automation methods.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in fast-paced technical environments.

Responsibilities

Support development and operation of ETL workflows for large-scale data migration efforts.
Execute data extraction, transformation, cleansing, normalization, and validation tasks.
Conduct detailed data mapping from legacy systems to target schemas and environments.
Operate within migration pipelines and support automation improvements.
Maintain documentation of migration steps, ETL processes, schemas, and pipeline behaviors.
Contribute to migration reporting, progress updates, and operational status summaries.
