Job summary
California Coast Credit is seeking a Cloud Engineering Manager in San Diego, CA to lead hands-on cloud infrastructure design, security, and optimization. You will mentor Cloud Engineers and collaborate with the Cloud Architect to deliver scalable, secure banking cloud solutions and related projects.
The role requires 9+ years in cloud engineering with leadership, deep Azure and Kubernetes expertise, and strong DevOps governance.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 9+ years of progressive cloud engineering experience with leadership.
- Strong hands-on tooling experience with Azure, Terraform/CloudFormation, and containerization.
- Experience implementing security controls and banking industry standards.
- Proven ability to lead cloud engineering teams and mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
- Owns the CI/CD roadmap and DevOps automation; standardizes deployment patterns.
- Define monitoring standards for infrastructure and applications; manage SLAs.
- Ensure cloud security controls meet banking regulatory requirements.
- Manage credentials, secrets, and rotation; enforce strict access control.
- Lead cloud engineering execution for enterprise initiatives and on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability and performance.
