Zebra is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to lead complex cloud infrastructure issues and drive automation across cloud environments in a hybrid Chicago setting. The role requires deep expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, and container technologies.

Develops most complex technical skill and judgment to provide non-routine technical support for computer/data center operations for cloud environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles, with at least 2-3 years in advanced cloud-native development or architecture.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, PowerShell). Advanced understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. Demonstrated experience in designing scalable, highly available, and fault‑tolerant cloud architectures. Solid understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and stakeholders. Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.

Pay Range: $108,960.00 - $163,440.00 Annual Incentive Compensation: In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 12% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
