GDIT is looking for a Cloud DevOps Team Lead to join our National Institutes of Health (NIH) CIT Hosting and Storage Services Program.
We are seeking a forward-thinking technical leader who can inspire and develop teams while ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and innovative cloud services and solutions. Our ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with cloud engineering and DevOps expertise, supported by experience designing, automating, and delivering solutions across AWS and Azure. This leader will provide clear direction and accountability for day-to-day operations, Agile execution, and project activities, while applying their technical understanding to guide architecture, engineering decisions, and complex customer solutions. They will foster a culture of collaboration, automation, continuous improvement, and innovation; empower team members to grow and succeed; and work closely with customers to understand their demands and guide their cloud adoption and modernization journeys. The successful candidate will balance standardization with flexibility, driving reusable cloud services while enabling tailored solutions when customer requirements demand them.
Location: Remote working candidates will be considered, however the preference is for candidates to go onsite to Bethesda, MD 3 days out of the week. If you're within 60 miles of 'customer site', we would look for you to go onsite, as needed.
_This role will require you to obtain and_ _maintain_ _a Public Trust and will require you to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility. This investigation may review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications._

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
