Job summary

SpatialGIS Services is seeking a motivated Junior-to-Mid Level Cloud Developer to join our technical team. In this role, you will help build and maintain cloud infrastructure, executing defined tasks, developing features, and ensuring smooth operation of automated pipelines.

You will translate Jira-defined requirements into functional code, submit clean Merge Requests, and follow change-management processes to deploy high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 1.5–3 years of professional experience in cloud development or DevOps engineering.
• Active Secret Interim or Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Write, test, and maintain cloud‑native code and scripts for AWS environments.
• Pipeline Execution: Monitor and trigger GitLab CI/CD pipelines; ensure tests and scans pass before merging.
• Process Adherence: Draft detailed Change Requests for production deployments and CAB approval.
• Documentation: Update API documentation and runbooks in Confluence.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprints and collaborate with senior engineers to refine tasks.
