The role emphasizes teamwork with software developers, data scientists, and IT operations. Requirements include 2–4 years in cloud engineering, hands-on cloud platform experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Nexus).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Anthos, OpenShift.
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, AWS CDK).
• FISMA familiarity and federal cyber frameworks (NIST SP 800-53/171).
• Version control (Bitbucket/GitLab) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage version control deployment and support Bitbucket/GitLab usage.
• Implement and administer CI/CD pipelines for approved frameworks.
• Configure IaC tools to enable scalable deployments.
• Support cross-datacenter deployments with Docker and containers.
• Maintain elastic container orchestration using Kubernetes/Anthos/OpenShift
• Provide monitoring/logging via EFK, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable, Prowler, OWASP).
• Support cloud operations, secure remote access, cost analysis.
• Assist with ATO documentation and SSPs; manage vulnerabilities.
• Create technical docs with Confluence; support DevOps migration.
