Job summary

Harvest Group seeks a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure supporting development teams. You will work across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, emphasizing automation, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or IT.
• 3+ years of cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong networking knowledge (VNets, DNS, load balancing).
• Proficiency with IaC tools and scripting (Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep; Python/Bash/PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Ensure security best practices are followed, including identity management, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Optimize cloud costs through monitoring, right-sizing, and resource management.
• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations.
• Support disaster recovery planning, backups, and business continuity initiatives.
