Job summary

Irth Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer to operate and secure production environments across Azure and AWS, helping automate, secure, and scale mission-critical SaaS platforms. You will contribute to reliable cloud architecture, remediation actions, and cost-efficient infrastructure, while supporting SOC 2 Type II compliance and end-to-end platform reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering, automation, and cross-functional collaboration within a security-conscious SaaS

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in cloud engineering, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Experience supporting SaaS applications in regulated/security-conscious environments
• Knowledge of IAM/RBAC, network segmentation, WAF, TLS, and secrets management
• Experience with production monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python; CI/CD with GitHub Actions or similar
• IaC via Terraform/Bicep or equivalent; cost monitoring and optimization

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and improve production infrastructure across Azure and AWS
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and vulnerability remediation
• Support SOC 2 Type II compliance through controls and evidence collection
• Monitor systems, alerting, incidents, and on-call participation
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Bicep; support CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor cloud usage and optimize costs; write/run runbooks and doc architecture
