Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to join a highly collaborative team responsible for the development, deployment, and integration of AI tools and AWS Cloud Solutions for DoW Mission Partners. The Cloud Engineer builds, configures, documents, and maintains DoW virtual infrastructure using AWS services, containers, and serverless tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required.
• 5+ years IT experience in cybersecurity, systems administration, or engineering.
• 2+ years hands-on AWS deployment experience.
• Active DoW 8140 IAT Level II+ certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud-based hybrid solutions in AWS that meet security requirements.
• Manage containerized workloads with ECS/EKS or AWS Fargate.
• Build and configure serverless components using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Ensure compliance with DoW, NIST, and FedRAMP security controls.
• Perform CI/CD pipeline automation and routine system maintenance.
• Coordinate support for enclave applications and troubleshooting cloud networking.
