Job summary

Smile Digital Health is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to own build and release pipelines, consolidating Azure DevOps pipelines into shared templates with automated quality gates. The role emphasizes GitOps-driven delivery and automated rollback.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.
• At least 1–2 years of Azure experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Azure DevOps pipelines, and GitOps with Argo CD or Flux.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting to automate manual processes.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Own build and release engineering, consolidating duplicated Azure DevOps pipelines onto shared reusable templates with automated quality gates.
• Implement GitOps-based continuous delivery with declarative, Git-driven deployments and automated rollback.
• Automate line-of-business environments end to end, provisioned and torn down on demand across Azure services and applications.
• Automate business continuity and disaster recovery through backup validation, restore and failover, and measured RTO/RPO.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on cloud engineering, DevOps and/or platform engineering experience with at least 1-2 years on Azure.
• Practical expertise in Terraform, Helm, Azure DevOps pipelines, and GitOps delivery with Argo CD or Flux.
• Strong Python and Bash skills, with a track record of replacing manual processes with automation.
