Job summary

Cyber Shell, LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to assess, maintain, and modernize secure enterprise cloud infrastructure in Washington, DC. You will research and engineer options for moving services to the cloud, oversee migrations, and support implementations with emphasis on automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities include assessing cloud infrastructure, designing migration options, and advising on resource allocation and security. A U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government background investigation.
• Hands-on experience with major enterprise cloud platforms; Azure and Microsoft 365 experience preferred.
• Experience planning and executing cloud migrations in secure or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security, compliance frameworks, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and cloud cost management.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering; Azure certifications a plus.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required

• Hands-on experience with major enterprise cloud platforms; Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 experience preferred
• Experience planning and executing cloud migrations in secure or regulated environments
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance frameworks and Zero Trust principles a strong plus
• Experience with infrastructure automation and cloud cost management
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Suggested: 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering; Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) a plus
