Job summary

Join CACI as a TS/SCI Cleared Cloud Engineer supporting our Air Force customer at Robins AFB, GA. You will help shape cloud modernization within the EPS team, designing and engineering cloud solutions that are secure, resilient, and highly available.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to drive cloud transition initiatives. The role emphasizes security integration, architecture design, and close coordination with developers to ensure production readiness

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• BS degree in a STEM field (5+ years experience may substitute).
• 3+ years of experience with cloud service providers, preferably AWS.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• One or more cloud vendor certifications or CompTIA Cloud+.
• Experience with Agile project management and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop Cloud Strategy with stakeholders to meet objectives like cost, scalability, agility, and risk.
• Participate in technical exchanges to address cloud migration approaches.
• Design and engineer secure IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Collaborate with security officers to integrate shift-left security in SDLC.
• Assess application cloud readiness with developers for production deployment.
• Develop automated, resilient solutions to archive security audit data per NIST.

Join CACI as a TS/SCI Cleared Cloud Engineer supporting our Air Force customer at Robins AFB, GA. As part of the Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for AF DCGS, you'll help shape future system transitions-including cloud modernization. As a cloud engineer, you will work with a motivated and experienced team to design, architect, and engineer cloud solutions that incorporate best practices to create a resilient, secure, and highly available cloud ecosystem.

About the Role:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a Cloud Strategy to achieve business objectives, such as cost, scalability, agility, and risk mitigation.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings to explore best approaches to solve cloud migration challenges.
• Design and engineer secure commercial cloud-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
• Work closely with information system security officers and engineers to incorporate shift left security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work with developers to assess application cloud readiness and make recommendations for deployment to production environments.
• Design and implement automated and resilient solutions to archive security audit data following National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
• Skilled at producing technical documentation and engineering diagrams.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• BS degree in STEM related field.
• 5 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a BS degree.
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud service providers, preferably AWS.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification.
• One or more cloud vendor certifications or CompTIA Cloud+.
• Experience working within a team using Agile project management.
• Experience using DevSecOps framework to build solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC).
• Experience with programming languages, preferably Python.
• Experience using JSON and YAML for automation and configuration.
