Job summary

Join CACI International Inc. as a TS/SCI Cleared Cloud Engineer supporting our Air Force customer at Robins AFB, GA.

You will design, architect, and engineer cloud solutions that are resilient, secure, and highly available, collaborating across teams to meet cloud modernization goals. You will develop cloud strategy, address migration challenges, and work with DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, scalable deployments in AWS and related environments, while aligning with NIST security controls

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • BS degree in STEM field; 5 years experience may substitute for degree.
  • 3+ years of cloud provider experience (prefer AWS).
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • One or more cloud vendor certifications or CompTIA Cloud+.
  • Experience with Agile project management and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a Cloud Strategy aligned with cost, scalability, and risk goals.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings to address cloud migration challenges.
  • Design and engineer secure IaaS and PaaS environments in cloud.
  • Incorporate shift-left security with information system security officers throughout SDLC.
  • Assess application cloud readiness and provide deployment recommendations.
  • Design and implement automated, auditable solutions aligned with NIST for security data.
  • Produce technical documentation and engineering diagrams.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

Join CACI as a TS/SCI Cleared Cloud Engineer supporting our Air Force customer at Robins AFB, GA. As part of the Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for AF DCGS, you’ll help shape future system transitions—including cloud modernization. As a cloud engineer, you will work with a motivated and experienced team to design, architect, and engineer cloud solutions that incorporate best practices to create a resilient, secure, and highly available cloud ecosystem.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a Cloud Strategy to achieve business objectives, such as cost, scalability, agility, and risk mitigation.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings to explore best approaches to solve cloud migration challenges.
  • Design and engineer secure commercial cloud-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
  • Work closely with information system security officers and engineers to incorporate shift left security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with developers to assess application cloud readiness and make recommendations for deployment to production environments.
  • Design and implement automated and resilient solutions to archive security audit data following National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
  • Skilled at producing technical documentation and engineering diagrams.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • BS degree in STEM related field.
  • 5 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a BS degree.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud service providers, preferably AWS.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification.
  • One or more cloud vendor certifications or CompTIA Cloud+.
  • Experience working within a team using Agile project management.
  • Experience using DevSecOps framework to build solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Kubernetes.
  • Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC).
  • Experience with programming languages, preferably Python.
  • Experience using JSON and YAML for automation and configuration.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $82,100-$172,400
