Talent Groups is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure in a hybrid environment (in-office once monthly in Phoenix or as needed). The role emphasizes AWS expertise, Windows/Linux administration, IaC, scripting, and DevOps automation.

Responsibilities include deploying scalable environments, securing architectures, and applying AI/LLMs to improve workflows. 3–5+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.

• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• 3–5+ years of automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, JSON, or CLI tools.
• Proficiency in Git, source control management, DevOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering and operational productivity.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects to design and implement secure, reliable cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues across virtualization, containers, and microservices in mission-critical environments.
• Implement cloud security standards, monitoring practices, cost controls, and optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and cloud platform standards.
• Use AI tools and LLMs to accelerate scripting, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, generate documentation, and improve operational workflows.
• Support cloud operations, periodic after-hours maintenance, and infrastructure changes as required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS cloud expertise, hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and DevOps automation. Experience leveraging AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve operational efficiency is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate and orchestrate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and source control management tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of multi-tier application architecture and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• 3–5+ years of experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, JSON, or CLI tools.
• Proficiency in Git, source control management, DevOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering and operational productivity.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing, and network traffic management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience managing public cloud environments and automated infrastructure.
• Active AWS Associate/Professional or Azure Associate/Professional certification.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, automated monitoring and auditing, and cloud database deployments.
