Job summary

Invictus International is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Ft Meade, MD to assess, design, and implement cloud-based solutions that meet federal standards. You will collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and maintain architecture documentation, while optimizing costs and planning disaster recovery.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud roles and active TS/SCI with CI Poly, with hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or administration.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Knowledge of federal security standards (FISMA, FedRAMP).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the existing cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to align with federal government standards and best practices
• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, operation procedures, and security guidelines
• Collaborate with the security operations team to ensure compliance with federal government security requirements
• Conduct regular cloud infrastructure audits to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities
• Optimize cloud service utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based services
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to personnel as needed
• Coordinate with other federa; agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and technologies

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or administration
• Knowledge in a variety of cloud platforms and technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and FedRAMP
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
