Job summary
Booz Allen is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize DoD cloud environments (AWS) in Chicago. You will design, deploy, and operate cloud services, driving automation and secure configurations.
Ideal candidates have DoD experience, RMF/ATO knowledge, and a Secret clearance, with a track record of CI/CD and infra automation in IL-4+ environments.
Qualifications
- Experience with DoD cloud environments including AWS.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments.
- Experience deploying applications into IL-4+ secure environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes, including RMF and ATO workflows.
- Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.

- Experience with management of DoD cloud environments, including AWS
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments
- Experience deploying applications into IL-4 or higher secure environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes, including RMF and ATO workflows
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and enterprise deployment teams
- Experience supporting systems requiring formal accreditation and continuous monitoring of DoD Systems
- Experience supporting IL-5/6 environments
- Knowledge of container technologies, including AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Cloud cost optimization methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in IT or cyber related field
- DoW 8140 Certification Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
