The role requires hands-on DevOps experience, AWS cloud, IaC tooling, and strong Linux command-line skills, with a focus on secure DoD information systems. A DoD clearance or eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years supporting DoD information management systems.
• 3+ years with cloud technologies (AWS) and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• 3+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Linux OS and CLI.

The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks, ultimately how to "harness the cloud". We’re looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoW information management systems
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• 3+ years of experience implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
• Experience using version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
• Experience with systems administration using UNIX or Linux, including basic commands and scripting such as Bash, Ansible, or YAML
• Experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker
• Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of site reliability engineering concepts
• Ability to closely collaborate with a team of cloud architects and engineers
• Bachelor's degree in a Data or IT-related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
