Job description

Cloud Engineer

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, maintain, and test business functions and web applications using a variety of languages, tools, methodologies, and technologies.
• Collaborate with the team to support the modernization of existing solutions in a large ecosystem using platforms such as AWS, Python, Scala, SQL, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Work with applications on AWS and utilize services such as EMR, EC2, DynamoDB, and S3 to create data pipelines.
• Gather and analyze data from various sources and create optimized solutions using big‑data tools such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Deliver end‑to‑end continuous integration/continuous delivery product in an open‑source environment using Jenkins.
• Develop scripts and automate development operations using Python and Bash.
• Assist Development and QA teams; build environments and troubleshoot issues during build and deployment.
• Perform day‑to‑day health checks, maintain servers, and reduce downtime.
• Support application deployments; build new systems, upgrade, and patch existing ones.
• Continuously improve software engineering practices.
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full‑stack of development tools and technologies.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Technology, Any Analytical Science or related fields.
