Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Engagement Architect to support secure cloud modernization, enterprise architecture, and compliance-driven technology transformation. This remote role leads cloud and security architecture engagements across AWS, Azure, and GCP, guiding strategy, design, and implementation for modern, scalable cloud solutions.

The Engagement Architect designs secure cloud architectures, develops roadmaps and deployment plans, and partners with teams to drive modernization

Qualifications

• 6+ years of security engineering, systems engineering, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience supporting AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
• Experience designing secure cloud solutions in regulated environments utilizing NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and/or CMMC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security, identity and access management, Terraform, and enterprise security tools.
• Strong knowledge of technologies such as Active Directory, Okta, Entra ID, Duo, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Tenable, and related security solutions.
• Experience working within Agile environments and supporting customer-facing consulting or professional services engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; active clearance preferred.

This position is remote. Compensation for the Engagement Architect include:

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
