This role can be based in various offices or remote. It reports to the Enterprise Messaging Manager.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Enterprise Messaging Manager, the Cloud Email Security Analyst is responsible for the daily review and administration of email security solutions, analyzing and remediating threats, incidents, and strategies. The role involves working closely with messaging engineers and security teams to ensure a secure email environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, report, and respond to email security incidents
• Manage email security measures such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, spam and virus filtering, URL rewriting, and attachment scanning
• Administer messaging systems focusing on Microsoft Cloud offerings (Exchange Online, MS Exchange Online Archiving, Protection, Conditional Access, Teams)
• Create and implement solutions, troubleshoot issues, and document procedures
• Develop access, monitoring, control, and documentation protocols
• Provide metrics and participate in disaster recovery planning
• Monitor inbound, outbound, and partner email security measures
• Respond to email security incidents and support incident response tasks
• Support Proofpoint Email Security Solutions
• Recommend strategies for emerging email security risks
• Identify and respond to threat vectors
• Provide 24 / 7 support for urgent issues
• Assist Help Desk and end users with security matters
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance service security
• Participate in after-hours on-call duties
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Interact professionally with firm leadership

Qualifications

• Understanding of email security threats and hygiene
• Knowledge of email standards, security practices, and components
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Collaborative interpersonal skills

Education & Experience

• 8+ years in messaging system engineering, with 4+ years in cloud messaging solutions
• 4+ years supporting large international email environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Technology or equivalent
• Certifications like Microsoft M365, Proofpoint are preferred
• Experience in law firms and enterprise migration projects is highly desirable
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Exchange Online Protection, Azure tools, DNS solutions
