Zusammenfassung

Zensar is seeking a seasoned Database Migration Expert to lead the migration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases as part of a data center modernization program. The role owns the end-to-end migration lifecycle, including assessment, planning, execution, validation and cutover.

The candidate will work toward target environments in on-prem, private cloud, or public cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI), delivering complex migrations with minimal downtime and zero data loss.

Qualifikationen

• 10-12+ years as Oracle/SQL Server DBA with migration leadership.
• Oracle 12c/19c, RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM, GoldenGate expertise.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL and automation scripting.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end migration lifecycle across on-prem, private or public cloud.
• Plan wave deployments, runbooks, rollback, and cutover activities.
• Coordinate with application, infra, network, and security teams; ensure downtime windows are respected.
• Validate data with reconciliation checks for zero data loss.
