The role focuses on architecture, ingestion frameworks, and data services, guiding the technical vision and collaboration with executives. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data leadership, strong cloud expertise (Snowflake, AWS, DBT), and experience with Apache tools and modern data patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in data engineering/architecture leadership.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala; SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, AWS, DBT; open-source Apache tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic vision for data engineering initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing data engineering team.
• Design scalable, high-performance data platforms and architectures.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance and SLAs.
• Collaborate with product IT and data teams to integrate solutions.
• Drive CI/CD, automation, and data quality initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to align data platforms with business goals.
