Job summary

Cyderes is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our platform team. In this role, you will help build, operate and improve the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platform and delivery pipelines that support our security services.

The ideal candidate has strong engineering fundamentals across Linux, networking, system architecture and the software development lifecycle, hands‑on experience with automation, GitOps, infrastructure as code and containers, and a security‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, platform or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern release practices across multi-environment setups.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production and containers (Docker).
• Experience authoring Helm charts and GitOps tooling (ArgoCD/Flux).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• IaC experience with Terraform or equivalent.
• Cloud provider knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Observability mindset with metrics/logs/alerting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve production Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers.
• Build and maintain Helm charts and deployment workflows.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams.
• Manage releases across development, staging and production environments.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Monitor platform health and improve metrics, logging, dashboards and alerting.
• Handle security considerations like secrets, vaults, and least‑privilege access.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Document systems, procedures and runbooks for peers.
