Job summary

ASM Research seeks a senior Cloud Engineer to analyze, design, code, test, and maintain automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. You will support CD tools and automation for Linux environments, and onboard developers to CI, test automation, and deployment processes.

Responsibilities include leading cloud strategy discussions, infrastructure deployments, migrations, and providing SME guidance. Strong scripting and DevOps practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Professional level cloud certification(s) in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years IT experience with: 5+ years cloud engineering; 5+ years debugging Windows or Linux administratively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CD tools; create fully automated CD processes for Linux environments.
• Onboard and train developers on source control, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
• Promote DevOps by moving code through Dev/Test, Staging, Production environments; troubleshoot CI/CD issues.
• Provide SME guidance on cloud strategies; lead infrastructure deployments and migrations.
