About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting Singapore’s Defence sector.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, while driving automation, operational excellence, and security.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AWS technologies, contribute to mission-critical projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as GitLab, Terraform, Sentinel, and Ansible.
  • Enhance efficiency and reliability of AWS Control Tower/Landing Zone pipelines, workflows, Lambda functions, and CloudFormation stacks/stacksets.
  • Drive operational excellence by automating routine tasks using AWS native tools (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Systems Manager).
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Application engineers to align automation solutions with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and resources.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard AWS resources.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Cloud or DevOps roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of RHEL or Windows operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Systems Manager).
  • Proficient with CI/CD and IaC tools (GitLab, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Solid understanding of AWS security best practices.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), or Networking will be an advantage.
