Job summary

Artha Nexgen in the United States area seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation for software deployment, system administration, and CI/CD processes.

The role collaborates with development teams to automate environments, improve efficiency, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments, using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and GitLab within an Agile/Scrum setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) certification.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, or Red Hat OpenStack.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible scripting.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing configuration management using Ansible.
• Experience with Active Directory and Nutanix cloud platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage hyperconverged cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Collaborate with software development teams to automate deployment processes.
• Design and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Test and validate automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
• Monitor infrastructure and track the impact of maintenance, patching, and system changes.
• Manage virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Implement configuration management using Ansible.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and infrastructure automation.
