Job summary

A leading cloud security startup in the US is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and maintain AWS infrastructure for multi-tenant SaaS platforms. This role requires strong proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. Qualifications

Platform Engineer | Cloud Security, AI, Start-Up | LATAM (Remote)

Brio Digital is partnered with one of the fastest growing and innovative AI Cloud Security start-up (Series A Funded) in the US who are looking to continue their engineering expansion with a Platform Engineer within LATAM.

🚀 The Role

As a Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain AWS‑based cloud infrastructure for multi‑tenant SaaS platforms.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (primarily EKS) with scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency in mind.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Support and optimize data platforms, including ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
• Build observability solutions for both traditional workloads and LLM‑powered services (latency, token usage, reliability, drift, hallucinations).
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and cloud security best practices.
• Participate in on‑call rotations supporting production systems.

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Platform, Cloud or DevOps Engineer. Previous experience as a Software Engineer is highly desired.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EKS, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and databases (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Kafka).
• Ability to read/debug Golang and make small modifications.
• Experience setting up observability for LLM services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, containers, and cloud services.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Argo, etc.).
• Solid understanding of observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Groundcover, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

💡 Nice to Have

• Experience with eBPF, cloud security, or runtime detection.
• Exposure to multi‑tenant SaaS architectures and customer data isolation strategies.

💵 The Numbers

$90k - $125k USD base salary (experience, skills based) with Unlimited PTO, Company Stock Options, Healthcare Plans, Remote Working, Flexi Hours and much more.
