Position Details

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. In this role, you will work as a cloud Engineer utilizing cloud computing platforms and developing full stack web applications interfacing with AWS services. The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. This effort supports MPO’s Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), which is MPO’s backbone platform for all Enterprise users.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform operations on virtual machine provisioning/de-provisioning (VMWARE and AWS).
• Perform development using .Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL, and minor administrative duties on Windows and Linux.
• Create collection object cleanup routines within Angular/Node JS applications for MongoDB systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years’ programming experience with at least one object-oriented language.
• Experience with Ansible, Python, Angular, and Django.
• 5 years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• 2 years’ experience with Linux desktop environment and bash shell.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent with git and GitLab processes.
• Experience with AWS, Visual Studio, code refactoring, and quality control procedures.

Security & Physical Requirements

• Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance.
• Ability to move and set up workstations.
• Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
• Effective communication skills via email, phone, or virtual presentations.
