Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Cloud Developer to design, develop, and deploy secure cloud solutions for DoD missions. You will use AWS, GCP, and Terraform to automate deployments and improve reliability.

Role requires 7+ years in enterprise Linux, strong DevOps skills, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II eligibility. Secret clearance is preferred. On-site at Fort Belvoir, VA with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining enterprise-scale secure systems.
  • Experience with Linux environments and microservice platforms.
  • Hands-on IaC development in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II within 30 days of start date.
  • Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident response capabilities.
  • Secret clearance is required.

You Have:

7+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment using Linux and Micro sof t platforms

3+ years of experience with DevOps and cloud engineering using Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) in AWS, Azure, and GCP using Terraform or CloudFormation, including hands-on development in GCP

3+ years of experience with operational support activities such as system monitoring, incident response, logging or met rics configuration, and troubleshooting cloud workloads

2+ years of experience using Golang, Python, SQL, Scala, or Java

Experience developing CI / CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications and infrastructure

Experience with networking fundamentals, including DNS, routing, switching, and load-balancing

Experience with containerization or orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker and Helm charts

HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with sof tware engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with sof tware engineering

Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

Experience with disa ster recovery services and concepts

Experience with GitLab, including automating DevSecOps pipeline processes in GitLab

Experience with migration of applications to the cloud

Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
