Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Cloud Dev Ops Engineer to join our hybrid team in Pleasanton, CA. You will own deployments to AWS, manage containerized workloads, and implement scalable, observable infrastructure.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, and security/compliance practices to ensure highly available systems. Hybrid onsite arrangement 2-3 days per week with on-site visibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or similar.
• Extensive deployments to AWS (SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, ECS, Lambda, S3, EBS).
• Solid containerization expertise (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Helm).
• Proficient CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with telemetry/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, New Relic).
• Relational DB experience with Postgres or similar (schema evolution, migrations).
• Familiarity with SOC compliance.
• Background in high-availability, auto-scaling architectures and disaster recovery planning

Cloud Dev Ops Engineer

LOCATION

2-3x/week onsite- Pleasanton, CA

REQUIRED SKILLS

Job requirements:

• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or similar)
• Proven extensive experience owning deployments to AWS (SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, ECS, Lambda, S3, EBS, etc)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Helm)
• GitHub Actions and other CI/CD tooling.
• Extensive experience with telemetry and logging tools and configuration/ownership (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Amazon CloudWatch, New Relic, etc)
• Relational database systems, managing schema evolution, migration, replication, and disaster recovery (Postgres or similar)
• Familiarity with SOC compliance
