Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the RDS Oracle team in Redmond. You will work on cloud database services, building scalable systems and automations that manage databases across the AWS cloud.

You will collaborate with a close-knit, agile team to own major deliverables end-to-end, with a focus on reliability, performance, and innovation in a highly scalable environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for cloud database services in AWS.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver end-to-end features for the RDS Oracle service.
• Improve reliability and scalability of database systems and automations in the AWS cloud.
