Job summary

AssuranceAmerica is seeking a senior SQL/Data Warehouse Developer to help replace legacy data warehouse systems with modern Azure/Cloud-based solutions. You will design and implement ETL processes, build SSAS OLAP cubes, and collaborate with business representatives to gather requirements and review progress.

The role requires 7+ years of SQL/Data Warehouse experience, strong SQL tuning, and familiarity with SSRS/SSAS in a SQL Server environment.

Qualifications

Requires a 4 year degree in a related technical area or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience as a SQL / Data Warehouse Developer in a SQL Server or equivalent environment.
Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL (candidates will be tested), creating performance tuned stored procedures and functions, SSRS (or equivalent).
Experience with ETL development strongly preferred; able to design, develop, tune, and maintain OLAP cubes using Microsoft SSAS strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with research, recommendations, and implementation of Azure/Cloud technologies to replace legacy data warehouse systems.
Develop ETL packages for translation and movement of data between vendor systems and the Data Warehouse.
Build, extend and maintain SSAS OLAP cubes.
Proactively communicate with business representatives to extract requirements and review progress.
