Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Cloud Data Platform Intern for summer 2027 in Cincinnati. This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with remote work, and you will join the Reporting Systems team to build data processing pipelines and automate solutions.

The position requires pursuing a CS-related degree with a 2030 graduation preferred, and a minimum three days per week on-site presence. Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, SQL, and Git is expected, with Snowflake knowledge

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expected graduation year 2030.
• Ability to work in the office at least three days per week.
• Proficient in Python with data manipulation and API calls.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON/XML formats.
• SQL skills; Snowflake familiarity preferred.
• Git/GitHub basics.
• Strong problem-solving and independent debugging.

Responsibilities

The Reporting Systems team is seeking a Cloud Data Platform Intern for summer 2027.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Ability to work in the office at minimum three days a week.

Education:

• Pursuing a degree In Computer Science or related
• 2030 graduation year preferred

Experience/skills:

• Proficient in Python (data manipulation, API calls, error handling).
• APIs: Experience with REST API integration and JSON/XML data formats.
• Databases: SQL skills; familiarity with Snowflake preferred.
• Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to debug and resolve issues independently.
