Job summary

Workday is seeking a software engineer to contribute to a cloud ops platform that ingests, computes, and aggregates curated data sets for AI/ML inference and agentic workflows. You will surface these data sets to front-end components and own end-to-end delivery from code to production.

The role requires 3–6+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), with hands-on expertise in Spark, Iceberg, Kubernetes, and related tooling.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years of experience in software engineering and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and data engineering tools like Spark, Iceberg, or Kubernetes.
