Job summary

USEReady is seeking a highly experienced Cloud & Data Senior Architect to lead hands-on architecture for cloud and data platforms, maturing Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based data capabilities.

The role spans data, analytics, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and security, shaping ingestion, replication, and high‑concurrency analytics across enterprise systems. Strong Azure, Fabric, and multi-cloud experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of enterprise tech, 10+ in data/cloud/platform architecture.
• Deep Azure architecture experience across storage, compute, networking, security, and data services.
• Experience with Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, or similar.
• Ingestion, replication, and near real-time data movement patterns.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Define reference architectures, standards, patterns, decision records, and roadmaps for enterprise data and cloud platforms.
• Define cloud landing-zone and environment architecture for the data ecosystem, including networking and security.
• Provide architecture leadership for medallion data architecture, data products, and platform interoperability.
• Define operational architecture for Fabric and Azure data services, capacity, monitoring, and production readiness.
• Design source-aware ingestion patterns: batch, ETL/ELT, CDC, APIs, event streaming, near real-time processing.
• Assess source-system architecture, workload, concurrency, and performance before ingestion designs.
• Apply patterns to protect source systems from analytics impact (read replicas, log-based CDC, etc.).
• Establish architecture standards for capacity, resilience, observability, and scale-out patterns.
