Wyetech, LLC seeks a skilled software engineer to advance data-science driven analytics for federal contracts. The role focuses on building features for big data repositories, training teams, and delivering web interfaces and REST services for content and metadata exploration.

You will work with Java, C++, Python, and modern cloud stacks, including Kubernetes and AWS, while supporting scalable, secure analytics across multi-tenant environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years combined programming with Java, C++, or Python.
• 5+ years designing and developing applications in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
• 1 year with databases like Apache Accumulo, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, Postgres, or similar.
• 1 year with distributed batch- or stream-processing such as Spark, Flink, Beam, or Databricks.
• 1 year with distributed storage systems like S3, GCS, Azure Storage, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test features for Apache/Accumulo to support large content and metadata repositories.
• Conduct Apache/Accumulo training sessions with hands-on configuration tasks.
• Develop web-based UIs for search/presentation of operational data and REST APIs for content repos.
• Develop algorithms for large-scale operational metadata using parallel processing on petabyte-scale data.
