Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience required
• Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL required
• Strong T-SQL proficiency and performance tuning
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar platforms
• Hands-on Python for data processing and analytics
• Experience in Azure cloud environments
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with AI/ML initiatives is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and optimize relational database solutions using SQL Server and Azure SQL
• Improve database performance and scalability with indexing and query tuning
• Build and support data pipelines using Azure SQL, Databricks, Spark, Python, and PySpark
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes to integrate data across cloud platforms
• Support AI/ML initiatives by maintaining data pipelines and feature datasets
• Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize models in Spark or cloud ML services
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies
• Partner with developers, BI teams, and analytics partners to deliver integrated solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data governance and quality
