Job summary

Vizient is seeking a data analytics and BI specialist to drive ETL pipelines, data modeling, and reporting across Oracle and SQL environments on Azure. You will design scalable data architectures, validate data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights.

Strong SQL, Python, and visualization skills are required, with experience in Azure cloud technologies and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• Related degree, experience and skills required.
• Experience in Data Analysis, BI, ETL, Data Warehousing/Databases, SQL Server/Oracle PLSQL, Python, R, Azure Cloud, analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience with Microsoft BI, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling (ER-win, MS Visio), database/w data warehousing concepts, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, Informatica, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Work with business product owners and leadership on agile projects to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Access and interpret multiple data sources for sourcing activities and reporting.
• Migrate Oracle code to Azure environment and redesign architecture for efficiency.
• Configure ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse to schedule jobs.
• Create data models and diagrams to support scalable design and data integrity.
• Develop OLTP and data warehouse structures, monitor performance, and ensure security.
• Troubleshoot and debug processes, implement error handling, and ensure data quality.
• Lead code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions to improve processes and code quality.
