TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) in Baltimore seeks an Intermediate Data Engineer with strong GCP hands-on experience to build scalable data platforms. You will work on data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Snowflake and Matillion, applying modern data practices.

The role requires 3–5 years in data engineering, proficiency in Python/PySpark and SQL, and the ability to collaborate with architects and leads in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• At least 2 years in Matillion and Snowflake.
• Strong hands-on Python / PySpark and SQL.
• Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Experience building data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines for data lake or data warehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with architects/leads to select tools/technologies and implement data management solutions.
• Ensure data management/analytics solutions meet Info-sec, QA, and governance standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics workloads.
• Adhere to project-specific operational, compliance, and governance processes.
