Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Basking Ridge, NJ to contribute to data engineering initiatives using GCP, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Oracle PL/SQL. You will work across the SDLC, document requirements, design software, and implement features while ensuring stability and quality.

This role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, code reviews, test strategies, and production issue resolution. Relocation or travel may be required, and US work authorization is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in GCP and cloud data services.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL development and administration.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration solutions.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and database deployment practices.
• Unix/Linux scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Telecom domain exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and document business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features while maintaining stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies.
• Maintain detailed records to enrich knowledge base.
