Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration, Data Engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience migrating on-prem SQL Server databases to AWS and Snowflake.
• Experience using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) or similar migration tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS database technologies including Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
• Experience writing Python scripts for data processing and data loads.
• Experience building AWS data pipelines using S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Experience with data modeling and support for application data environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control tools.

Responsibilities

• Support database migration from on-prem SQL Server to cloud targets including AWS and Snowflake.
• Perform Python-based data processing and support data loads.
• Develop AWS data pipelines for applications that use Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
