Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Cloud & Data Engineer to provide technical and consultative support on core finance and HR platforms. This onsite role is based at the Easton Oval office in Columbus, OH.

The candidate will partner with Business Analysts to define data-pipeline requirements and develop data systems, while staying current with industry trends. The role emphasizes balancing development and support across multi-platform environments and may lead specific projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
5+ years of related experience in Cloud Engineering, Software Development, or Data Analytics.
1+ years of experience with AWS, glue/lambda, and ETL cloud development.

Responsibilities

Partner with Business Analyst to confirm and define requirements for data pipelines.
Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
May serve as project leader for specific projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
