Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Denver is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to lead the architecture and development of data center software. You will work with a diverse team of engineers to deliver high-availability services using Python, Java, Go, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation.

You will own the design, development, testing and on-call support for data acquisition and transport services, focusing on scalable, secure solutions that meet customer needs and business requirements.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing and launch of new data acquisition and transport services in the data center infrastructure space.
Collaborate with senior and junior team members to build new features and maintain quality.
Join the on-call rotation to help resolve production issues and drive best practices.
