Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking an experienced Principal Architect to architect, design, and deliver scalable, secure data solutions. You will oversee data strategy for major portfolios, including Snowflake-based warehouses, data lakes, and streaming data pipelines.

You will lead agile teams, collaborate with product and engineering leaders, and ensure adherence to standards and governance across enterprise data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/IT with 5 years as Principal Architect in financial services.
• Or Master’s in CS/Engineering/IT with 3 years as Principal Architect in financial services.
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Defines and executes a multi-year data technology road map and strategy.
• Architects and designs enterprise data solutions using modern patterns.
• Ensures decisions align with architecture standards and governance.
• Builds relationships within architecture teams and leads squads.
• Supports testing, validation, and documentation of data systems.
• Provides technical leadership to agile teams and solutions.
• Collaborates with engineering and product teams to drive innovation.
