The salary range for this role is $97,000 to $154,000, based on experience and market conditions. The position may also include an annual discretionary incentive and a competitive benefits package.

Role Summary

We seek a candidate experienced in security engineering to lead the design and implementation of security solutions in hybrid cloud environments, including Azure and GCP. This role involves developing security strategies, maintaining existing systems, and ensuring compliance across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize technology systems and policies.
• Apply engineering principles to ensure robust system integration.
• Assess and upgrade technology and communication systems.
• Coordinate with architecture teams for effective implementation and compliance.
• Implement security solutions in Azure and GCP, including policies, endpoint controls, and Kubernetes security.
• Develop DevSecOps strategies covering architecture, design, and deployment.
• Create and enforce application security standards and secure coding practices.
• Develop API security strategies, including lifecycle protection capabilities.
• Establish encryption standards for organizational security.
• Participate in projects to upgrade or install cloud components and optimize technology functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Azure/GCP certifications preferred.
• Experience with security architecture in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with Terraform automation.
• Knowledge of security tools like MS Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, etc.
• Understanding of security frameworks (CIS, NIST).
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and API security controls.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, GIAC, etc.) are desirable.
