Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Cloud Cybersecurity Analyst to design, defend, and evaluate the enterprise security architecture and government accreditation posture for critical IT networks. The role involves threat modeling, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and regulatory compliance, with a hybrid schedule in the Washington DC Metro area.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years of cyber experience, relevant certifications, and experience with tools like Nessus, SCAP, and App Detective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5+ years of Cyber experience.
• Experience as a Cyber Analyst, RMF Engineer, ISSO, or similar.
• Hands-on vulnerability and compliance tool experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253.
• US Citizenship with Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and track vulnerabilities with scanning tools.
• Coordinate with IT teams to contain and remediate incidents.
• Support threat modeling and evaluate security incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Validate security requirements and assess operational risks.
• Assist in ST&E preparations and draft post-test analyses.
• Review audit logs and track open findings until closures.
• Configure and harden secure operating systems and access controls.
