Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage Kubernetes clusters and implement automation solutions on AWS. Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch.

• Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Solid knowledge of Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Cluster Management:
  • Design, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
  • Implement networking, security policies, and IAM roles for cluster operations.
• Infrastructure Automation:
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Automate deployments and scaling of workloads.
• CI/CD Integration:
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitoring & Logging:
  • Implement observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Performance & Cost Optimization:
  • Troubleshoot cluster performance issues and optimize resource utilization.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Apply best practices for securing Kubernetes workloads and AWS resources.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure smooth operations.
