Job summary

Connected Logistics seeks a Cloud Computing Specialist SME to support Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and RMF/NIST guidance across IOEE/IOSEE systems, delivering secure, reliable cloud services for DLA enterprise operations. Travel to multiple DLA sites is required.

Candidates must have 5 years C&A, RMF/NIST experience, DoD IA familiarity, FedRAMP knowledge, and ability to work independently in cloud environments; secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAM Level III certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant Certification and Accreditation (C&A) experience.
• RMF and NIST C&A experience.
• DOW IA experience.
• Assessing IA controls experience and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex Information Systems.
• Ability to work independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge.
• May travel around 3 times a year.
• Familiar with FedRAMP assessment methodology across six domain areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Information Assurance and Cloud computing SME for Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and RMF/NIST standards guidance.
• Apply RMF/ NIST SP 800-53 and 800-37 guidance to cloud environments.
• Identify, manage, and resolve cloud security risks; implement best practices across deployment models.
• Support installation or troubleshooting activities at multiple DLA sites as needed.

Connected Logistics is seeking a Cloud Computing Specialist SME to assist in providing the core network engineering services needed to manage the ongoing operations, planned upgrades, new technology insertion, and strategic capability development of Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) systems and equipment with the goal of providing a secure, reliable, and high-performance network that effectively enables DLA's business activities. This requires the ability to deploy to any DLA site in support of installation or troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will serve as an Information Assurance and Cloud computing SME with regards to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and a broad coverage of the application of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and guidance as outlined in the NIST Special Publication(s) (SP) 800-53 and 800-37 (Current versions).

Requirements:

• Five (5) years of relevant Certification and Accreditation (C&A) experience
• (RMF) and NIST C&A experience
• DOW IA experience
• Assessing IA controls experience and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex Information Systems
• Possesses the ability to work independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge.
• Must have the essential skillsets to identify, manage and resolve cloud computing security risk and implement "best practices" as applied within a cloud environment (across all the different deployment and service models, and derivatives).
• May need to travel around 3 times a year.
• Must be well versed in FedRAMP assessment methodology of security and privacy controls deployed in cloud information systems to include six (6) domain areas.

3. Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security
4. Cloud Application Security
5. Operations
6. Legal & Compliance

Investigative Requirement: At time of proposal the contractor must possess a Moderate Risk, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation.

Clearence: Secret

8570/8140: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or Equivalent)

Computing Environment Certifications: Cloud Computing Security Certification such as an AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Cloud+, or equivalent
