Job summary

dtLabs is seeking a Cloud & Backend Engineer to design, validate and implement cloud infrastructure and backend services for an AI-powered computer vision platform. The role involves working across AWS infrastructure, APIs, data services and system integrations to build a secure, scalable US-based environment.

Responsibilities include developing backend services, designing AWS infrastructure, implementing IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and ensuring cloud security and proper networking.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend development and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on AWS experience and ability to design secure, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and databases.
• Familiarity with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for IaC.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and REST APIs.
• Design and maintain AWS infrastructure.
• Use Terraform and/or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Research and validate cloud architecture and security solutions.
• Develop integrations with databases and external systems.
• Support integration between cloud, edge devices and AI services.
• Help deploy the system in a separate AWS environment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to architectural decisions.
